Associate - Employment

The role

An employment solicitor with 1-5 years PQE is sought for a fee-earning role with significant responsibility in the growing Birmingham team. This position is ideal for someone seeking engaging work, strong client relationships, and a supportive team environment.

What you'll do

• Advise high-profile clients on a range of strategic employment matters
• Draft employment contracts, policies, and disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Manage employment tribunal claims from initial instruction to resolution
• Support complex transactional employment matters
• Handle data subject access requests
• Contribute to the team's profile through thought leadership articles, seminars and client events
• Develop deep sector knowledge and maintain cutting-edge awareness of legal developments
• Build long-term client relationships
• Maintain excellence in file management in accordance with Lexcel and departmental standards
• Actively engage in comprehensive firm-wide and departmental training programmes
