This is a flexible, senior employment lawyer role within Lewis Silkin's LS In-house and rockhopper services, targeting lawyers with at least 6 years of PQE. The role offers unique autonomy in choosing work type, location, and hours, catering to those seeking an alternative to traditional private practice demands, and is suitable for individuals with strong private practice experience in UK employment law.
What you'll do
- Work on the rockhopper helpline
- Carry out project work such as Employment Tribunal litigation
- Undertake client secondments
- Handle volume ET litigation
What we're looking for
At least 6 years PQE
Excellent academics
Strong interpersonal and team-working skills
High level of private practice experience
Excellent knowledge and practical experience of UK employment law
Up-to-date with recent developments in UK employment law
Competency in MS Office suite
Qualified UK lawyer with a current UK practising certificate or overseas equivalent
Previous in-house legal experience for client secondments· nice to have
Previous Employee Relations experience for client secondments· nice to have
Ability to spend time in mainly London-based client offices for secondments· nice to have

Home-based working for rockhopper
Part-time working available for rockhopper (as little as 1 or 2 days per week)
Provide all IT equipment needed for a home office set-up
