The role

The firm is seeking a mid-level Associate (5-6 PQE) for its dynamic Employment Group. This role is for an ambitious lawyer with strong academics, high-quality training, and a genuine interest in employment law, focusing on both contentious and non-contentious matters for a diverse client base, including those in the Film, TV, and Theatre sectors.

What we're looking for

5 – 6 PQE

Strong academics

High quality training

Ambitious and keen to take on responsibility

Good technical skills

Good interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic approach to their work

Willingness to deal with a wide range of matters at any one time

Contentious and non-contentious experience including contested Tribunals

Experience dealing with contested grievances and disciplinary processes on behalf of employers and employees

Confidence and ability to give practical advice to clients

Ability to work in a close knit and friendly team

Genuine interest in employment work

Commercial sense

Proven ability to build and maintain a personal client base· nice to have

Experience advising clients in the Film, TV, and Theatre sectors· nice to have
