Associate - Workplace & Safety

The role

Wotton Kearney is seeking an Associate for its Workplace & Safety team in Melbourne, Australia. This role is for an employment lawyer with experience in both contentious and advisory matters, focusing on employment law, industrial relations, and workplace disputes.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with performance management, disciplinary processes, employee misconduct issues and termination of employment matters
• Support workplace restructures and provide advice on employee entitlements, awards, enterprise agreements and employment contracts
• Assist with workplace investigations and sensitive people matters
• Work on unfair dismissal, adverse action, discrimination and other employment-related disputes
• Draft employment agreements, workplace policies and employment advice for clients across a range of industries
• Support clients with workplace compliance, governance and risk management issues
