Senior Associate/Of Counsel – Pensions at CMS

The role

CMS is seeking a Senior Associate/Of Counsel with 7+ years of PQE to join their Pensions team in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for an experienced solicitor interested in advising clients on a broad range of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes.

What you'll do

Work on a broad range of pensions matters
Support trustees and employers across defined benefit and defined contribution schemes
Contribute to high-quality advisory work
Continue to develop technical skills in practice
Be involved in a wide range of high quality advisory work
Receive exceptional training in a supportive and collaborative team

What we're looking for

7+ years of PQE

Ability to demonstrate an interest in, and enthusiasm for, the pensions market

Possess excellent relevant experience from a recognised pensions team

A strong academic background

Excellent communication skills

Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Demonstrate an ambition to succeed with a commitment to client relationship management and business development

Be well organised with effective prioritisation skill
