Associate or Senior Associate - Workplace & Safety

The role

Wotton Kearney is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for its Brisbane Workplace & Safety team. This role will focus on employment law, industrial relations, and workplace disputes, advising and representing clients in high-stakes issues.

What you'll do

• Advise employers across a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters, including unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, bullying and harassment claims
• Manage workplace disputes, investigations and sensitive people matters
• Act for clients in employment litigation, industrial disputes and regulatory matters across state and federal jurisdictions, including the Fair Work Commission and courts
• Support clients on strategic workplace risk, compliance and governance issues, including employment contracts, policies, due diligence and workplace health and safety matters
• Build trusted relationships with clients by delivering practical, commercially focused advice on complex workplace challenges
