The role
Baker McKenzie is seeking a Mid-Level Labor & Employment Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience for its North America Employment & Compensation Practice Group. The role will focus on domestic labor and employment disputes, including complex litigation, and is available in Chicago, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Provide clients with domestic and international employment law counseling
- Provide clients with litigation representation
- Assist multinational companies with their international and domestic labor and employment issues
- Litigate multijurisdictional class and collective actions
- Handle high stakes, complex disputes
What we're looking for
3 to 5 years of employment litigation experience
Strong academic credentials
Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills
Ability to function smoothly in a fast-paced team environment with culturally diverse team members
Admitted and a member in good standing of the California or Illinois Bar
Major top tier law firm experience in an employment litigation practice· nice to have
Federal judicial clerkship· nice to have
