Associate

The role

This role is for a dynamic lawyer with at least 1 PQE and experience managing their own matters. The position is within the finance team, focusing on advising private equity sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate finance issues.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on finance matters
• Draft and review transaction documents
• Run the transaction process
• Negotiate with other parties
• Supervise trainee solicitors
• Advise regulated clients on a range of compliance issues
• Advise private equity funds on portfolio investment-related matters, including special purpose vehicles and joint venture arrangements, and general partner/manager compensation issues
• Advise on and negotiate fund direct and secondary transactions
• Contribute to knowledge management and business development initiatives, including preparing articles and speeches
