Structured Finance Senior Associate at BCLP

The role

BCLP is seeking a Structured Finance Senior Associate for its Finance practice in London. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of PQE in structured finance and securitisation, providing specialist advice and transactional support to clients.

What you'll do

Provide specialist, dedicated Securitisation and Structured Capital Markets advice
Provide transactional support
Assist clients in relation to securitisations, asset-based financings, capital markets financings, distressed portfolio acquisitions and loan work-outs in both the UK as well as assisting clients in emerging markets particularly in Africa and other jurisdictions in the consumer, SME and corporate finance, corporate and residential real estate and infrastructure sectors
Ensure client matters and files are appropriately supervised and managed

What we're looking for

At least five years post qualification UK, broad based finance experience

Background in debt finance ideally in structured finance, securitisation and/or structured debt capital markets

Fluent in French

Experience drafting in French

Ability to use specialist technical skills and knowledge to provide practical solutions for clients

Ability to take client instructions and demonstrate a full understanding of their goals

Ability to manage complex files and multiple workloads

Ability to take responsibility for ensuring client matters and files are appropriately supervised and managed

Ability to give commercially astute advice and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the commercial issues that clients face
