Associate

The role

This role is for a dynamic individual with 2-4 PQE to join the firm's finance team in Europe, focusing on advising private equity firms, corporates, and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate finance issues, including managing their own matters.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on finance matters, including drafting and reviewing transaction documents, running the transaction process, negotiating with other parties, and supervising trainee solicitors
• Advise regulated clients on a range of compliance issues
• Advise private equity funds on portfolio investment-related matters, including special purpose vehicles and joint venture arrangements, and general partner/manager compensation issues
• Advise on and negotiate fund direct and secondary transactions
• Contribute to knowledge management and business development initiatives, including preparing articles and speeches
