The role

Stephenson Harwood is seeking a Leveraged Finance Associate with 4+ years of PQE to join their Finance practice group in London. This role focuses on transactional financings within the mid-market, working on both borrower and lender side deals.

What you'll do

Work on a mix of borrower and lender side transactions
Work on acquisition financings
Work on cashflow lending transactions
Work on senior, unitranche, super senior, mezzanine, and holdco PIK facilities
Work alongside the Private Equity team on the financing aspects of leveraged buyouts
Navigate the challenges that can arise in overseas jurisdictions

What we're looking for

At least four years of post-qualification experience in finance

Experience working on leveraged finance transactions

In-depth experience of the mid-market

Experience working on both borrower and lender side transactions· nice to have
