The role
A senior lawyer with 8-15 PQE is sought for the Disputes practice group at Jackson McDonald. This role involves working on diverse and complex client matters across commercial contracts, governance, regulatory issues, trusts, and the Corporations Act, with a focus on risk and dispute resolution advice. The position offers collaboration with partners Eva Lin, Marcus Pullen, Mark McLennan, and Dave Stewart, and supports the development of junior lawyers.

- Settle work to support the development of junior lawyers' legal skills
- Develop management and leadership skills
- Build confidence in navigating the business of the profession of law
What we're looking for
8 - 15 years post-admission experience
Demonstrated experience in dispute resolution
Sound judgement and commercial acumen
Legal knowledge and technical ability commensurate to experience
A proactive, innovative and energetic approach
High level communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent technical and drafting skills with demonstrated attention to detail
Well organised with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
Ability to empower and mentor juniors to increase their legal skills
Willingness and ability to be flexible to accommodate business and client demands
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Solutions focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional standards
Ability to manage challenging situations in a professional manner
Permitted to work in Australia on an unrestricted basis
