Competition, Regulatory & Risk - Associate/Senior Associate

The role

Mills Oakley is seeking an Associate or junior Senior Associate with 5-8 years of PQE for their Sydney Competition, Regulatory & Risk practice. This role will involve working on a broad spectrum of competition and consumer law matters, including litigation and regulatory investigations, supporting senior practitioners and managing matters independently.

What you'll do

• Work on all aspects of competition and consumer law, including competition advice, competition litigation, cartel litigation, marketing and advertising clearance work, consumer law litigation, regulatory investigations and prosecutions, general commercial litigation, and class actions
• Provide day-to-day carriage of matters
• Brief counsel
• Draft Court Documents including pleadings, affidavits, applications
• Correspond with opposing counsel, Courts and Tribunals
• Research complex legal matters
• Provide concise and accurate summaries and advice to senior practitioners and clients
• Manage workflow and deadlines
