Associate/Senior Associate – Competition, Foreign Investment & Trade

The role

Gowling WLG is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate with 2-4 years of experience in Competition and Foreign Investment law to join their London office. This role will focus on advising national and international clients on a broad range of competition and foreign investment matters within the firm's award-winning CFIT team.

What you'll do

• Advise national and international clients on merger control
• Advise on NSIA / FDI issues
• Advise on competition investigations including dawn raid support
• Advise on market investigations
• Advise on the interface between competition law and IP
• Advise on distribution and licensing arrangements
• Advise on subsidy control and State aid
• Advise on trade, customs, and sanctions issues
• Work closely with colleagues across the wider firm and its international offices
• Have direct contact with clients
• Expand internal and external networks
• Participate in sector-aligned business development activities
• Participate in social events
• Participate in client-focussed events
