Patent Litigation Associate Attorney

The role

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a mid-senior level patent litigator (typically 3-7 PQE) for its London Intellectual Property practice. This role is for ambitious lawyers with a strong background in patent litigation, focusing on complex, high-value, and cross-border disputes, particularly in technology and life sciences sectors.

What you'll do

• Run and support UK patent litigation, including technical analysis, evidence, strategy and case management
• Advise clients on patent enforcement, validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate issues
• Contribute to multi-jurisdictional dispute coordination with US and European colleagues
• Advise on a broad range of IP matters (trade marks, copyright, designs, confidential information, passing off)
• Support transactional and advisory IP work where relevant
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to business development initiatives
• Supervise and develop junior lawyers within the team (for senior candidates)
