Senior Associate (5+ PQE) - Catastrophic Injury/Large Loss

The role

A Senior Associate with 5+ PQE is sought for the Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team in Manchester. This role will involve working on complex, high-value claims for leading insurer and corporate clients, gaining exposure to motor, employer's liability, and public liability matters.

What you'll do

• Work closely with experienced Partners on complex, high-value, and sensitive cases
• Act for leading insurer and corporate clients
• Gain exposure to a broad range of claims including motor, employer’s liability, and public liability
• Play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships
• Assist Partners on a varied caseload of catastrophic injury and large loss claims
• Take witness statements
• Review and interpret medical records and reports
• Liaise directly with clients and provide strategic legal advice
• Ensure compliance with client SLAs and MI requirements
• Proactively manage files and adhere to court timetables
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and client reports
• Handle interlocutory proceedings and CCMCs
• Support Partners in client development and business growth initiatives
• Contribute to marketing and business development activities
