The role

K&L Gates is seeking a midlevel Real Estate Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their Washington D.C. office. This role focuses on transactional and development work within the Real Estate practice group.

What you'll do

Draft purchase and sale agreements
Draft real estate development documentation
Draft due diligence materials
Draft other agreements specific to the industrial and technology sectors, including data centers and advanced manufacturing

What we're looking for

Three to four years of real estate transactional and development experience

Experience in the preparation of purchase and sale agreements

Experience in real estate development documentation

Experience in title and survey review

Experience in lender side finance representation

Self-starters with ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable managing competing deadlines

Strong academic credentials

Excellent communication skills

Dedicated commitment to high-quality client service
