The role
Goodwin is seeking a Technology - Senior M&A Associate to join its Technology and M&A practice groups in New York. This role is for experienced lawyers with 5+ years of PQE, focusing on mergers and acquisitions within the technology sector.
What we're looking for
5+ years of comparable law firm experience
Significant experience in mergers and acquisitions
Experience working in teams and managing transaction components independently
Proactive with strong business sense
Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
Outstanding academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
Specific experience in mergers and acquisitions for both early- and late-stage technology companies· nice to have
Experience representing leading venture capital investor clients· nice to have
