The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Technology Transactions (Biotech) Associate with 3-6 years of PQE to join its Technology practice group. This role will focus on advising life sciences companies on strategic commercial arrangements and will be based in Boston, Palo Alto, or San Diego.
What you'll do
- Advise life sciences companies on strategic commercial arrangements
- Draft and negotiate partnering and collaboration agreements
- Draft and negotiate asset sales and spin-outs
- Draft and negotiate foundational technology licenses with academic institutions or companies
- Draft and negotiate manufacturing arrangements
- Draft and negotiate other technology-focused operational agreements
- Engage in early client contact
- Gain exposure to a broad range of transactions
- Work closely with attorneys across the firm
