The role
WilmerHale's Tax practice is seeking an associate with 3-6 years of PQE to join their Washington, DC, Boston, or New York office. The role will focus on executive compensation and equity incentive arrangements within corporate transactions.
What you'll do
- Advise on Sections 83, 421-424, 409A, 280G, 162(m), and related Code provisions
- Provide day to day, and transactional-specific, advice on tax qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, welfare plans, and related compliance matters
- Interact with clients and coordinate with corporate, tax, and securities teams
What we're looking for

Experience advising on Sections 83, 421-424, 409A, 280G, 162(m), and related Code provisions
Experience in day to day, and transactional-specific, advice on tax qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, welfare plans, and related compliance matters
Strong analytical and writing skills
