The role
Cooley LLP seeks an associate with 1-2 years of experience in employment law for its Employment and Labor practice group in New York. The role focuses on employment law counseling and litigation, with an emphasis on client counseling in New York and Florida, and M&A transaction support.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day counseling to firm clients
- Offer employment support on M&A transactions
What we're looking for
1-2 years of broad experience in employment law
Training, experience, and interest in both employment law counseling and employment litigation
High level of motivation and initiative
Excellent writing and communication skills
Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible and willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar
