Employment & Labor Attorney: 1st-3rd year at Cooley

The role

Cooley LLP seeks an associate with one to three years of experience for its fast-paced employment and labor practice group in Reston, Virginia or Washington, DC. The role focuses on employment counseling, particularly statutory and regulatory compliance, executive employment agreements, and employment aspects of M&A transactions.

What we're looking for

One to three years of experience

Broad experience and sophistication in employment counseling

Experience with statutory and regulatory compliance

Experience with executive employment and separation agreements

Experience with employment dimensions of M&A transactions

Strong academic credentials

Strong communication skills

Some litigation experience· nice to have
