The role
Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a Privacy Associate with 4-8 years of experience to join their team. This role will focus on privacy and product counseling, advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws.
What we're looking for
4-8 years of experience
Experience advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws
Experience developing internal data protection programs
Experience conducting privacy assessments
Experience building out data maps
Experience performing data protection impact assessments
Experience drafting privacy policies
Experience negotiating data processing agreements
Experience advising on cutting-edge or high-risk privacy issues like AI, adtech, health data, biometric data, and/or kids and teen data
Strong academic credentials
Prior peer law firm experience is a plus· nice to have
