The role

Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP is seeking an experienced associate with 4-6 years of transactional experience in trust and estate planning and administration to join their national Private Client Services Group. This role is ideal for individuals with strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills, looking to contribute to sophisticated estate and tax planning for individuals and families.

What you'll do

• Assist individuals and families with sophisticated estate and tax planning techniques
• Assist with creating and administering family offices
• Assist with administering, decanting, and modifying trusts
• Assist with administering complex estates
• Assist with planning with respect to business interests, art, and often unusual assets
• Assist with analyzing complex transfer tax issues
• Assist with handling tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service
