The role
The Compensation and Benefits practice group is seeking an attorney with at least 6 years of PQE to advise on tax-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans. The role requires expertise in ERISA compliance, plan design, administration, and regulatory matters, as well as experience with benefit plan issues in transactions.

Experience with related regulatory matters
Experience counseling on benefit plan issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and other transactions
Experience with drafting plan documents and disclosures
Experience with compliance testing
Experience with IRS and Department of Labor filings and audits
Experience with correction matters
Excellent academic credentials
Superior writing skills
Superior oral communication skills
Superior analytical skills
Experience with ESOP transactions· nice to have
Experience with ERISA plan asset rules· nice to have
