Associate/Senior Associate - Property & Liability at Clyde & Co

The role

This role is for an Associate/Senior Associate to join the market-leading Product Liability team at Clyde & Co. The position is based in Bristol and will focus on defending personal injury claims arising from product liability, property damage, and aviation incidents, often involving significant personal injury exposure.

What you'll do

Advise insurers and their insureds on claims arising from product liability, property damage incidents, and aviation liability risks
Deal with claims arising from tortious, statutory and contractual routes
Work on varied and interesting matters for both commercial and insurer clients

What we're looking for

2 PQE + with a background in insurance litigation, particularly involving personal injury

Prior experience of product liability, property damage, or aviation claims would be helpful

Some experience in commercial litigation or arbitration would be advantageous

Strong understanding of litigation processes, including multi-party and cross-border disputes

Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales

Must have a practising certificate as required by the Solicitors Act 1974

Must comply with the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's continuing professional development scheme (CPD Scheme)

Experience in coverage disputes and/or defending liability claims involving bodily injury is highly desirable· nice to have

A strong personal injury background is preferred· nice to have
