The role
K&L Gates is seeking a mid-level to senior Associate for their Commercial Contracts and Technology Solutions team in Raleigh, with flexibility for candidates in Charlotte, Dallas, or New York. The role requires 3-6 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and familiarity with AI tools.
What you'll do
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, such as manufacturing and supply agreements, distribution agreements, services agreements, consulting agreements, development and collaboration agreements, reseller agreements, and licensing agreements
What we're looking for
Three to six years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Experience using general AI tools
Willingness to learn and leverage legal AI technologies
Technologically savvy
Strong academic credentials
Excellent communication skills
