Key requirements
4+ years of predominantly private equity experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree (LLM or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school Admitted to the New York bar (or the ability to become admitted) and in good standing Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity
The role
White & Case is seeking an Associate with 4+ years of experience in M&A and Private Equity to join their team in New York. This role will focus on advising sponsors and their portfolio companies on complex corporate transactions.
What you'll do
- Represent private equity sponsors in M&A transactions and other investment deals
- Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents
- Supervise and train junior associates involved in transactions
- Manage the execution of deals from inception to closing
- Provide strategic legal advice to private equity sponsors and portfolio companies
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth transaction processes
What we're looking for
