Paralegal - Property Disputes

The role

Trowers & Hamlins is seeking a Paralegal to join its Property Disputes team in Exeter. This role will focus on real estate litigation and will support public and private sector clients with a variety of property disputes.

What you'll do

• Advise a mixed client base from both the public and private sector on a broad range of real estate disputes
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and advise clients on any proposed terms
• Draft court proceedings, witness statements and affidavits and assist with the preparation of trial bundles
• Assist with the preparation of cases for hearing at the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber)
• Build and maintain effective client relationships
• Participate in marketing initiatives
• Participate in firm-wide, office and departmental training sessions
• Ensure files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures
