Associate - Asset and Aviation Finance at Walkers

The role

Walkers is seeking an Associate with 3+ years of PQE to join its Asset and Aviation Finance Group in Dublin. This role involves advising top-tier clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional asset and aviation finance and leasing transactions, working closely with partners and associates.

What you'll do

Work on a broad range of matters representing top tier clients
Advise banks, financial institutions, lessors, aircraft owners, financial arrangers and private equity groups on asset and aviation finance and leasing transactions

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience (PQE)

Ideally in asset and aviation finance in a recognised practice

Interest from lawyers with general finance, banking and project finance background welcomed

Strong academic credentials

Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills

Strong transaction management capability

High level of commercial and business awareness

Calm and measured approach to problem solving

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills

Proven track record in managing competing priorities and deadlines

Eligible for an Irish practising certificate
