The role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an Associate with 2+ years of PQE to join their Aviation team within the Banking and Finance practice in Singapore. This role involves working on complex, cross-border aviation financing and leasing transactions for a global client base.

What you'll do

Work directly with colleagues and clients on complex, cross-border transactions
Take ownership of key workstreams
Develop experience across the full lifecycle of aviation financing and leasing matters
Be involved in a diverse range of transactions, acting for airlines, lessors and banks
Work jointly on transactions with colleagues in other offices
Manage conditions precedent and ancillary documents on finance and leasing transactions with appropriate supervision
Develop strategies
Understand the commercial aspects of financial transactions
Provide practical, business-oriented advice to our international clients

What we're looking for

At least 2 years' PQE, qualified in Singapore, England & Wales or their equivalent in a common law jurisdiction

Prior experience in aviation matters is mandatory

Meticulous attention to detail

Excellent written and communication skills

First class legal and drafting skills

Strong academic background
