Lawyer/Associate - IPIT at Thomsons

The role

Thomsons is seeking an experienced IP/IT Lawyer with 2-5 years of PQE for their Adelaide office. This role is within the Intellectual Property, Technology and Regulatory team, focusing on IP and technology matters for a diverse client base.

What we're looking for

2-5 years of post admission experience in a general commercial law practice

Experience with reviewing and drafting contracts

Exposure to a range of commercial transactions

Excellent attention to detail

A willingness and ability to understand clients' commercial needs and objectives and provide solutions at law to achieve these

Strong legal analysis and the ability to apply problem solving skills to varied situations

The ability to provide sound, pragmatic and innovative legal advice to the firm's corporate clients

Experience in dealing directly with clients and working autonomously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A desire to learn and be challenged and stimulated by your work

Experience in IT law· nice to have
