Technology, Privacy and Commercial Lawyer - Solicitor/Associate at Dentons

The role

Dentons is seeking a Technology, Privacy and Commercial Lawyer (Solicitor/Associate) with 3+ years of experience to join their Auckland office. This role focuses on IP and Technology law, advising local, national, and international clients on commercial contracting, data, IP, and sourcing.

What you'll do

Advise local, national and international clients on strategic commercial contracting and advice, including technology, data, consumer, intellectual property, and sourcing and supply
Advise clients on their development and launch of cutting edge technology
Advise clients on all aspects of doing business in an online, globally-connected world

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience working within a corporate commercial environment

Experience in Technology law

Experience in Privacy and Cybersecurity law

Experience in Commercialisation of Intellectual Property

Strong general commercial experience

Strong plain English drafting skills

Ability to get the detail right

Ability to consider issues strategically and commercially

Expertise in Franchising and Distribution· nice to have

Expertise in Telecommunications· nice to have

Expertise in Consumer law and media· nice to have
