Senior Associate, Environment and Planning (6+ PQE)

The role

Dentons is seeking a Senior Associate with 6+ PQE for its Environment and Planning team in Wellington or Auckland. This role is for an experienced lawyer looking to advise a diverse range of public and private sector clients on resource management and environmental law, working closely with partners Nicky McIndoe, Christina Sheard, and Ezekiel Hudspith.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on water and transport infrastructure projects, district and regional plan development, heritage regulation and urban renewal
• Guide clients through consenting processes, the resolution of any appeals and on issues of compliance
• Collaborate with local and national clients on complex three waters infrastructure and freshwater management
• Work closely with partners and clients
• Mentor junior team members
