The role

Simpson Grierson is seeking Intermediate Real Estate Solicitors with 3+ years of PQE to join their Auckland or Wellington offices. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant and complex real estate projects, including major developments and infrastructure, within the firm's leading Real Estate Practice Group.

What you'll do

Work on significant and complex projects
Advise on major developments
Advise on infrastructure projects including transport, water, energy and data centres
Advise on commercial transactions and due diligence
Advise on complex acquisitions, disposals, leasing and subdivisions
Advise a diverse client base including major commercial, international, mana whenua and central and local government clients

What we're looking for

3+ years of PQE

Experience with land development

Experience with acquisitions and disposals

Experience with infrastructure projects

Experience with leasing

Experience with overseas investment

Experience with public works and government

Experience with Māori land

Experience with forestry

Experience with agribusiness

Experience with broader commercial property work

Proactive, curious and commercially minded

Strong transactional capability

Ability to manage a busy and varied workload

Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues

Clear communication skills

Ability to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing and supportive team environment
