The role

Simpson Grierson is seeking a Senior Planning & Environment Lawyer for their Wellington office. This role is for an experienced individual with strong resource management and environmental law expertise, focusing on significant RM and local body projects and litigation within a nationally recognised team.

What you'll do

• Advise on significant resource management system reform
• Work on high-profile urban development and infrastructure projects
• Work on housing developments
• Work on freshwater and environmental management
• Work on strategic planning and policy development
• Work on plan changes
• Engage in RMA and local government litigation and appeals
• Support clients implementing and operating within the new resource management framework
