Solicitor/ Associate - Financial Professionals

The role

This is an opportunity for a Solicitor/Associate with 0-4 years of post-qualification experience to join DAC Beachcroft's Insurance practice in Bristol. The role focuses on supporting the financial professionals team, which handles high-value and complex professional indemnity claims, particularly for financial advisors, accountants, and insolvency practitioners.

What you'll do

• Assist in the defence of professional indemnity claims, particularly in the financial professionals line of business
• Act as a point of contact for clients
• Manage a caseload with supervision
• Support Partners in larger matters
• Conduct pre-action and litigated matters
• Assist more senior fee-earners
• Advise insurers on coverage across a range of insurance policies and issues
• Interact with clients on a regular basis
• Liaise directly with experts and counsel
• Run disclosure exercises
• Draft witness statements
• Report to Insurers and conduct work according to insurer protocols and SLAs
• Support marketing and business development activity within the team
• Write articles
• Provide training to clients
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge
• Ensure full compliance with DAC Beachcroft protocols on billing and credit control
• Demonstrate a high level of financial management
