The role
Baker Botts is looking for a mid-level Corporate Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their M&A practice in Houston. The role involves supporting sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions, including capital markets, SEC reporting, and general corporate counseling.
What you'll do
- Support capital markets transactions, including public and private securities offerings and related compliance matters
- Assist with SEC reporting and disclosure obligations for public company clients
- Contribute to a range of corporate transactions and general corporate matters as part of a collaborative deal team
- Work closely with partners and senior associates to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice
- Advise clients on day-to-day corporate governance and related corporate matters
What we're looking for
