The role

Travers Smith is seeking two Dispute Resolution Associates with 2+ years of experience to join their London office. The role involves working collaboratively on complex and sizeable disputes matters within a leading firm, with opportunities for client contact and strategic case involvement.

What you'll do

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of an outstanding client service
Be involved in the full lifecycle of a range of cases
Have client contact
Work directly with Counsel
Deal with opposing solicitors
Be fully immersed in the evidence
Take the lead on procedural matters
Be involved in shaping the strategic direction of a case from start to finish

What we're looking for

Qualified Solicitor in a Common Law jurisdiction

At least 2 years' experience working in a similar role, advising on a range of complex and sizeable disputes matters, within a disputes department at a leading firm

Strong oral and written communication skills

Confident in drafting and commercially astute

An outstanding academic record and intellectual curiosity

Enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and the ability to think creatively where required

An inquisitive personality with a keen attention to detail

An ability to work both autonomously and within a collegiate environment

Experience of diligent management of a diverse caseload in a proactive and proficient manner

Resourceful with excellent time management skills

A willingness to show commitment to, and engagement with, the firm's culture
