The role

Addleshaw Goddard is seeking an ambitious Managing Associate with 6+ years of PQE in Real Estate Disputes for their Manchester office. This role involves providing expert legal support in complex litigation matters, leading client relationships, and mentoring junior team members within the firm's Real Estate Disputes team.

What you'll do

• Provide expert legal support and representation in high-value, high-profile, and complex litigation matters
• Lead on matter delivery and client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Deal with a full range of landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, dilapidation claims, service of break notices, forfeiture and possession actions
• Act on a range of high-value, high-profile and complex litigation matters
• Take day-to-day ownership of matters
• Lead strategy for matters
• Manage client relationships
• Drive cases forward efficiently and commercially
• Work closely with Partners and Legal Directors on the most complex, high-profile or business-critical mandates
• Support key clients of the Division and the firm
• Strengthen and deepen client relationships through excellent client service, commercial insight and responsiveness
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers
• Support effective delegation
• Contribute meaningfully to business development activity
• Identify opportunities with existing clients
• Support pitches and panel appointments
• Build internal and external profile
• Help the team develop new relationships
