Consulting lawyer - Project development/Project finance - Singapore at A&O Shearman

The role

This is a consulting lawyer role with A&O Shearman in Singapore, focusing on project development and project finance within the Energy and Infrastructure practice areas. The position is for lawyers with 3+ years of PQE.

What we're looking for

A right to reside in Singapore

Qualification to practice in at least one of England & Wales, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia

A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm in this field

Strong technical knowledge and experience, ideally with some Asian experience

Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant

Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally

Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment

Strong commercial/business acumen

Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible

Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy

In-house legal experience at leading financial services institutions/corporates preferred (directly or as a secondee)· nice to have
