The role
Jones Day is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate M&A Associate with approximately 5 years of PQE to join their M&A practice in Hong Kong. This role will focus on managing and supporting complex cross-border M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.
What you'll do
- Take an active role in leading and supporting complex M&A, PE, and VC transactions and corporate commercial matters
- Work closely with cross-border practice groups to deliver integrated legal solutions across jurisdictions
- Active participation in client networking, pitch preparation, and market visibility initiatives
- Manage files independently
What we're looking for
Hong Kong qualified lawyer with around 5 years of PQE in corporate and M&A
Hands-on experience driving high-value, complex transactions
Deep knowledge of Greater China's regulatory and legal landscape relevant to M&A
Strong command of international cross-border transactional principles
Native/fluent English required
Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is highly advantageous· nice to have
