The role

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is seeking a Junior Associate with 1-3 years of PQE to join their Antitrust/Competition practice in Hong Kong. This role focuses on advising clients on a range of competition law matters.

What you'll do

Conduct merger control filing analyses
Research relevant case law and decisional practice for competition matters
Prepare client information requests for merger control preparation
Draft merger control filings and submissions
Advise on behavioral and conduct related antitrust and competition matters

What we're looking for

1-3 years of PQE in antitrust/competition law

Ideally trained at a peer or other top-tier international law firm

Experience supporting a range of competition matters

Experience conducting merger control filing analyses

Experience researching relevant case law and decisional practice for competition matters

Experience preparing client information requests for merger control preparation

Experience drafting merger control filings and submissions

Experience advising on behavioral and conduct related antitrust and competition matters

Strong academic credentials

Sound judgment

Good drafting skills

Good analytical skills

Ability to work effectively in a cross-border, team-oriented environment

Fluency in English

Mandarin capability· nice to have
