M&A and PE Senior Associate at King & Wood

The role

King & Wood is seeking an experienced M&A and Private Equity Senior Associate to join their Hong Kong office. This role is for lawyers with at least 5 years of relevant experience, focusing on M&A and Private Equity transactions, particularly those involving cross-border investments and financing.

What you'll do

Take on matters autonomously, seeking guidance and support as required
Assist partners and seniors to manage client relationships

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of PE/M&A experience with top HK firms or international firms in HK

Admitted in Hong Kong or PRC (if admitted in PRC, sufficient exposure to cross-borders financing or M&A deals with working experience in Hong Kong preferred)

Solid Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions related work, cross-border investment and financing exposure and general corporate experience

Ability to assist partners and seniors to manage client relationships

Ability to work effectively with partners, seniors and juniors in the team

Strong fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken, reading and writing is essential)

Excellent analytical and communication skills

Ability to produce commercially astute advice
