Associate - Litigation - Darwin

The role

HWLE Lawyers is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2+ years of PQE to join their Darwin office. This role will involve working on a diverse range of commercial litigation matters for significant clients.

What you'll do

• Gain exposure to a diverse range of matters across commercial litigation, medical negligence, estate disputes, historical abuse and institutional liability, workers' compensation, banking and finance, and construction disputes
• Work on complex, high-profile matters for government agencies, major institutions, ASX-listed companies, and private sector clients
• Work with a diverse client base including government bodies, ASX-listed companies, financial institutions, and private enterprises

• Be involved in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
• Be involved in medical negligence disputes
• Be involved in workers' compensation matters
• Be involved in banking and finance disputes
• Be involved in construction and infrastructure disputes
• Be involved in contract disputes
• Be involved in estate matters
• Be involved in regulatory investigations
• Be involved in administrative law and judicial review matters
• Be involved in child welfare work
• Be involved in historical abuse and institutional liability claims
• Be involved in insolvency and debt recovery
• Be involved in employment dispute resolution
• Be involved in native title dispute resolution
