The role
Mallesons is seeking a Solicitor with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience to join their Dispute Resolution team in Brisbane. This role focuses on high-profile litigation and dispute resolution matters, including class actions and regulatory disputes, and will involve working under the guidance of Emma Costello and Jasmine Forde.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the delivery of prompt and commercially astute advice
- Assist clients in the negotiation, resolution and settlement of complex disputes
- Play a role in supporting and actively developing client relationships
- Facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships
What we're looking for
2-3 years of PQE
Litigation background
Excellent analytical, communication and research skills
First rate experience of drafting documents (including pleadings, submissions, witness statements, affidavits etc)
Experience in litigation, assisting clients in the negotiation, resolution and settlement of complex disputes
Strong commitment to client service
Well-developed relationship management ability
