Associate - Dispute Resolution & Litigation at Piper Alderman

The role

Piper Alderman is seeking an Associate with 2-4 years of PQE in their Sydney Dispute Resolution & Litigation team. This role will focus on complex commercial disputes, including contractual, regulatory, corporate, and trust matters in superior courts.

What you'll do

Play a crucial role in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team
Handle general commercial disputes with an emphasis on complex contractual disputes, regulatory proceedings, corporate and trust disputes in superior courts across Australia and overseas
Engage in direct client and counsel contact

What we're looking for

2-4 years post admission legal experience working on complex commercial litigation matters

Experience working within a high-performance environment where you have mastered the ability to effectively manage your own time and work to deadlines

Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits

A commitment to technical excellence and delivery of high-quality outcomes to our clients

A team player who enjoys a collaborative working style and social environment

An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills and a high level of attention to detail

A self-motivated and “can-do” attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
