Senior Associate - Property Litigation

The role

HopgoodGanim is seeking a Senior Associate with 3-4 years of experience in property litigation to join their Brisbane team. This role will focus on a broad range of commercial property disputes and litigation matters, with an emphasis on leasing and land lease communities.

What you'll do

• Advise and represent clients in commercial dispute resolution and litigation, across contractual, leasing, body corporate, land lease community and property disputes
• Act on a range of property-related disputes, including disputes between landlords and tenants, owners and operators, developers, purchasers and other property stakeholders
• Advise clients on dispute resolution strategies and represent them in negotiations, mediations and litigation where required
• Provide advice on the interpretation and enforcement of commercial leases, property contracts and other property-related agreements
• Work on matters involving land lease communities, including disputes and regulatory issues affecting operators, owners and residents
• Draft and negotiate land lease community documentation across multiple jurisdictions, including Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria
• Build strong, long-term client relationships and provide practical, commercially focused advice
