Solicitor/Associate - Healthcare Regulatory

The role

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Solicitor/Associate with a focus on Health Regulatory matters to join its Health Law practice in Leeds, United Kingdom. This role is for a qualified professional interested in developing expertise in inquests and professional regulatory work within the health and social care sectors.

What you'll do

• Handle a varied and interesting workload with an appropriate level of supervision
• Advise and support clients on a range of health regulatory matters, including inquests, regulatory and advisory work
• Conduct advocacy in inquest proceedings
• Act as a lead point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience
• Communicate effectively with a broad range of people including clients, courts, regulators, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
• Support marketing and business development activity within the team
• Attend marketing events and client training
• Build an awareness of the Firm's other services and development of effective internal and external networks
• Handle confidential information in line with the firm's data security protocols
• Exercise full compliance with DAC Beachcroft protocols on billing and credit control
• Demonstrate a high level of financial management in respect of own files
