Solicitor - Healthcare Regulatory

The role

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Solicitor for its Health Law practice area in Newcastle. This role is for a qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in health regulatory and advisory work, supporting clients on a broad range of matters within the health and social care sector.

What you'll do

• Handle a varied and interesting workload with an appropriate level of supervision
• Advise and support clients on a range of matters, including inquests, regulatory and advisory work, including court advocacy
• Act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience
• Communicate effectively with a broad range of people including clients, courts, regulators, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
• Support marketing and business development activity within the team, e.g. attending marketing events and client training
• Build an awareness of the Firm's other services and development of effective internal and external networks
• Handle confidential information in line with the firm's data security protocols
• Exercise full compliance with DAC Beachcroft protocols on billing and credit control and demonstrate a high level of financial management in respect of own files
